The BAFTA nominations across the video game category are in, with Nintendo up for four different and delicious awards.
It's been a stellar year for video gaming, with 2013 drenched with well-received hits like The Last of Us, Grand Theft Auto V, BioShock Infinite, Battlefield 4 and DOTA 2. Don't forget Nintendo's own lessons in video-gaming development - Super Mario 3D World leading the pack for the Japanese game-maker.
For Nintendo-specific awards, Super Mario 3D World is nominated for Best Original Music, Multiplayer, Family and Best Game. Mario is joined by Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Rayman Legends in the family category.
Oddly, however, Nintendo weren't nominated in the Mobile & Handheld category - despite releasing critically acclaimed titles like Pokémon X / Y and Fire Emblem: Awakening last year.
Can Nintendo take home awards in this year's BAFTAs?
