It's an all-out football affair as Nintendo Pocket Football Club is set to strike a goal or two this April.

More details on the portable footy simulation were talked about during the latest Nintendo Direct presentation, with fans taking the role of manager of a local footy club. Get the squad all trained up, seek new talent and unlock card combos to boost up stats to help win the field in the 3DS-exclusive.

Nintendo Pocket Football Club managers can also share team members with friends and view stats on an upcoming dedicated game website.

The game is set to start a new season from 17th April in Europe.

I wonder if we'll ever see "Nintendo Pocket Soccer Club" in North America.

I hadn't even heard of this game until this article.
