Child of Light, Ubisoft's New RPG, Slated May 1st for Wii U

Beautiful 2D RPG Child of Light now has a release date for the Wii U.

The stunningly beautiful 2D RPG Child of Light from Ubisoft now has a solid release date on the Wii U: May 1st. Utilizing the splendid UbiArt engine originally created for Rayman Legends, Child of Light boasts some remarkable hand drawn, water color style artwork. Play wise, the game is an RPG that features an "Active Time Battle" system similar to the SNES era Final Fantasy games.

Not exclusively a Wii U game, Child of Light is set to release on almost every major platform available, minus the 3DS and Vita. That means it'll be on Wii U, PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Steam. It also features a co-op mode.
