SEGA and Nintendo are going to Hollywood with a film adaptation of the Console Wars book by Blake Harris.
CONSOLE WARS: Sega, Nintendo and the Battle that Defined a Generation is set to hit bookshelves from May in North America and slightly later around the globe, telling the tale of two Japanese companies who defined the video game landscape of the 90s.
Sony Pictures and Scott Rudin are developing a film version of the boom, to be written/directed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Author Harris will also be involved in the big-screen transition as Executive Producer.

The announcement, however, dates back to 2012, where both Rogen and Goldberg commented on the project on Twitter.
