Modern Shaq Fu Gets Nintendo Wii U Stretch Goal on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Shaquille O' Neal returns to the world of video games with a new crowd-funding campaign for a new installment of Shaq Fu.

The group, Big Deez Productions, launched an IndieGoGo campaign this week for the new, modern-day take on the ill-fated cult classic - Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn. Pitched as Streets of Rage meets Street Fighter, players set out as Shaquille O'Neal, dealing damage through combos and melee weapons.

There are stretch goals that include a Wii U version at a whopping $1,080,000 - with Xbox One/PS4 support currently requesting $1,620,000 in funding.

For more details, be sure to visit the IndieGoGo campaign page.

Are you a fan of the original Shaq-Fu, and will you pledge support for the modern take?
