999: The Novel Opening up on iPhone on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Aksys have been putting together an adaptation of 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors for mobile players.

999: The Novel will allow players to play through the experience as a branching story, without dabbling in the puzzle aspects from the DS original. The iPhone release will also include support for players to jump back a segment and attempt different routes without starting the story from scratch.

999: The Novel will hit the service on March 17th for $4.99.

Hmm, conflicted. Can't be bothered to get the other endings on my DS copy and this would be a nice way to refresh the story in my mind a bit quicker. Plus it'll help the dev fund the third game. But I really don't like games on my phone. Hmm, dunno.
