The use of Unity technology may advance to the Nintendo 3DS, the company highlighted during GDC.
During the conference this week, Senior Manager of Marketing at Nintendo of America, Damon Baker highlighted how the company have "had those discussions and we are definitely looking at that."
With a huge install base of over 42 million, Nintendo are "working towards" bringing Unity or other middleware providers to the device. The main priority was to ensure that the Wii U build was ready before moving onto other platforms.
Baker did confirm that it's something Nintendo are working towards, but there's nothing concrete to announce yet.
Would you like to see more middleware technologies become available on 3DS?
