Tecmo Koei Looking for Other Franchises After Hyrule Warriors on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

More Dynasty Warriors styled cross-overs could be on the cards, with Tecmo Koei expressing interest in other franchises.

In the latest edition of the Official Nintendo Magazine, studio vice president Hibashi Kinuma noted how "Disney, Star Wars and Mario are just a few of the various franchises we'd like to work with," but of course the main goal is to wrap up development on the Legend of Zelda cross-over, Hyrule Warriors.

Developed by Tecmo Koei, Hyrule Warriors is the latest spin-off from Nintendo's iconic adventuring franchise, featuring a wealth of familiar enemies all out for a bit of Link's Hylian blood. Hack and slash ahoy, there'll be plenty of environments to battle through across the Hyrule landscape when the game sails onto Wii U.

What other franchises do you think would be a good fit for Tecmo Koei work with?

I don't see Mario working with anything Koie Tecmo does....Pikmin MAYBE but not Mario or Metroid.

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422
