Machete Brawl Slices onto Wii U eShop this Year on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

q-Bit Games and Sleepy Sheepy are slicing up a new 2D battle game, Machete Brawl for Wii U.

The premise is simple - a tournament is happening on the island of Groz'g, and it's down to family members to battle through different environments in a bid to win the "Mighty Golden Carrot Trophy" and, presumably, fame for life. The stages are set on a 2D plane, with various different enemies, power-ups to chew through - like jet packs and carrot guns.

The project is a sequel to the recent Machete, for Wii U and PC, with a release planned for later this year. The Wii U version will feature asymmetric gameplay through the GamePad, plus five player support.
