Ace Attorney 3DS Goes Back in Time with New Protagonist on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

New details from the upcoming Ace Attorney 3DS game have emerged, taking the franchise back in time.

This week's issue of Japanese magazine Famitsu shed a few new details on the forthcoming project, known as Dai Gyakuten Saiban: Ryuunosuke Naruhodou no Bouken (which translates to Ace Attorney: Ryuunosuke Wright's Adventure). Series creator Shu Takumi will sit in the director's seat, with Shintaro Kojima acting as producer.

Interestingly enough, the game won't star popular protagonist Phoenix Wright, but will instead feature one of his ancesors - Ryuunosuke Naruhodou, taking place in a 19th century courtroom.

What are your thoughts on the new setting for the next Ace Attorney title?
