Various sources have indicated that Nintendo is planning on revealing new hardware at this year's E3.
IGN and trade magazine MCV have both heard from sources that Nintendo are intending on showing some form of new hardware at the event, which takes place next month. IGN's Peer Schneider stated that he's "heard it from multiple people now", including a previous Nintendo employee and "somebody on the third-party front."
Videogamer have also chimed into the rumour mill, suggesting that the hardware will be created in two parts - "Fusion DS" and "Fusion Terminal", a potential successor to the Wii U.
Nintendo may well be showing a revised model for existing hardware; perhaps a bare-bones Wii U or an additional peripheral that's compatible with the console.
The latest batch of speculation also follows a potential meta-tag slip up spotted on the Nintendo E3 website earlier this week.
