Developer Renegade Kid has started work on a new 2D game for Nintendo 3DS after the result of the Cult County Kickstarter campaign.
Studio co-founder Jools Watsham took to Twitter last week to announce the new project, which is described as a "new experimental 2D game for 3DS" that has "pixels and stuff". The decision to move into a new game is "part of our healing process", Watsham noted.
As part of our healing process after the KS failure, we're developing a new experimental 2D game for 3DS. It has pixels and stuff. No cults.

The new 3DS game, which is still very much underwraps, won't be relying on Kickstarter either, Watsham said in a separate Tweet.
What are you expecting to see in the new Renegade Kid project?
