A Look at More 90s Nintendo In-Store Video Trailers on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Remember having to roam into local video game stores to see snippets of upcoming games? Another Nintendo promo video from the 90s has surfaced.

The star of the show at the time was the original Game Boy, with the likes of Donkey Kong, Space Invaders, Donkey Kong Land, Kirby's Dreamland 2, Mario's Picross and The Lion King on show. SNES also had it's time in the spotlight with Killer Instinct, Mortal Kombat II and various other 16-bit gems on display at local outlets.

The most amusing part of the video promotion has to be the "way cool", "ka-boom" unveiling of the ill-fated Virtual Boy console, as the presenter rummages through the halls of Nintendo of America's offices to encounter the then new hardware.

What are your highlights from these video trailers?

0:37 seconds when it gets to MKII on the Game Boy. I'm pretty sure that's Cam Clarke, voice of Liquid Snake in Metal Gear Solid. Smilie
