Answering a question from investors, Nintendo boss Satoru Iwata confirmed Miyamoto's involvement in Wii U GamePad titles for E3.
A translation of the Q&A session, where investors asked about games designed for the GamePad, noted that "multiple games" will be introduced during E3 next month, that will "range from near complete titles to titles that are early in development, but will demonstrate the titles' core appeals."
The games on show have been worked on by internal teams with the "guidance of Mr. Miyamoto", Iwata said, "designed to introduce players to the value of the Wii U Game Pad by demonstrating play-styles only possible because of it."
