Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Debut Trailer on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo have posted a sneak peak look at the Nintendo 3DS remakes of Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire!

The snippet shows the first in-game footage from the games - Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire - two of the legendary beasts in their new, revitalised 3D glory. Naturally instead of sprites, the forthcoming games seem to use the same or similar engine to the one established in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.

Groudon, the ground-type critter and Kyogre, the water-type, play a pivotal role in the Game Boy Advance classics, where two scheming teams tried to capture these beasts for their own plans.

What a waste of time. Smilie Will probably have to wait till E3 or summat before we see some proper footage.

Yes, I have to agree that this clip showed us nothing of any significance, but rather the two legendries that were all expected to be redone in 3D. Why couldn't GF show some of the Hoenn region in 3D or even the main protagonists? However I do feel that the new footage allows us to see what we can expect visually in the remakes and that it will be a new breath for the best generation if Pokemon.

Actually it did show something interesting. The 3D models of Groudon and Kyogre from the clip differ form the ones in the boxart suggesting that they'll have new forms, be it by mega stone or something else. At least, that's what I think.

I know it did, but as I previously mentioned, that was to be expected, for the new forms will most likely be explained later on, for GF may want to keep their significance a mystery, but, however, that doesn't mean they were interesting, they weren't, showing us nothing else than Groudon and Kyorge which is not anything interesting unless we can be told of their significance.

OH EM GEE!!! THIS LOOKS IMMENSE!!!

DID YOU SEE THE WEATHER EFFECT AND WATER.... Smilie

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562
