Coloured Team Borders in Super Smash Bros. 3DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The latest Super Smash Bros. for 3DS reveals a change in how team battles could play out on Nintendo's portable.

In the past games, when playing as teams, characters would take on the colour palette - for example red outfits for the red team, and blue for those on the blue.

However, in the 3DS version, players will have the option to maintain the original character skins, with the outline colours changing depending on the team. "Now you can choose any color you want!" said producer Masahiro Sakurai on Miiverse this morning.

Awesome! I like this. I hope the Wii U version has this as well.
