Hyrule Warriors Comparison Screenshots Highlight Dramatic Improvements on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Comparison screenshots from the previous and current build of Hyrule Warriors reveal some striking changes.

When the game was first revealed in early footage, fans saw protagonist Link chomp through the land of Hyrule, slaying enemies and opening treasure chests. Similar screens from the latest version of the game made the Internet rounds earlier this week, with comparisons noted on how much has improved.

With the sharper and more detailed textures comes more improved lighting.

Looking much better. Might have been a bad idea showing it in such early form to begin with. People thought "meh" especially with the Times New Roman font typed title at the end of the trailer. The new logo looks much better!

I wonder when we'll get a new trailer seeing as how it's due in Japan very soon? E3 is too far away :/

E3 is too far away? It's just a bit more than two weeks now! In one interview, they said that they hope we enjoy the new trailer that will be shown at E3 and includes new playable character reveals. It's also not out in Japan for another three months.

It's good that Link looks less feminine now, I was really worried about that at first.

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422

In an IGN article it was reported that the game is only about 70% done right now, so it's not surprising to see such graphical adjustments from the initial trailer over 5 months ago.

The game is looking great though!

If it's not currently E3, then it's too far away!

I think 3 months qualifies as very soon. Smilie

He still looks pretty girly in some other shots but it's nice to see some noticeable changes.
