Adventures of Pip is entering its last day and a bit over on Kickstarter and needs a big push to help it reach the target of US$90,000 in order to be released on Wii U, as well as Xbox One, PC, and Mac.
With the game recently being Greenlit on Steam, and thanks to massive support from fans and media alike, Tic Toc Games has said it will find a way to make the game happen no matter what, but obviously hitting the campaign target would speed the process up considerably and allow for more features to be added to this intriguing game.
In addition to the news of the crowdfunding campaign ending in 35 hours (at time of writing), the team had the following announcement:
Tic Toc Games' Adventures of Pip Kickstarter campaign is nearing its end. With only one day left and a bit over $50,000 still needed, they're hoping for an onslaught of backers to come out of the woodworks and make their dreams a reality. They remain optimistic and even recently got word that the game has been Greenlit on Steam, so they have that to look forward to. In fact, they have been so encouraged by the passionate support of their backers that they've said they're going to find a way to make this game happen, one way or another.Be sure to check out Cubed3's recent interview with Tic Toc Games all about Adventures of Pip!One thing's for sure, they've learned a ton about the ins and outs of running a campaign such as this. Even with months of planning and herculean efforts, they found there was still an overwhelming amount to be done. Between press releases, constant social media updates and announcements, live streams, and responding to copious feedback from backers, they found little time for anything else. To do all this while maintaining paying projects was a challenge to say the least.
After getting off to a strong and promising start, things seemed to slow down inexplicably. They believe there's a strong chance that gamers and game press alike are preoccupied with E3, which makes sense. As the big event approaches, the entire gaming community seems focused exclusively on what will be shown and who will show up. That makes it tough for a pixel to get noticed. But that won't stop Pip. You can bet Tic Toc will be showing Adventures of Pip off to anybody interested at E3. They won't have a booth, but if you see someone wearing a badge with Tic Toc Games on it, be sure to ask them for the inside scoop.
