Samus? Nintendo hears your distress calls, with plans to hopefully reveal more details about upcoming Metroid games soon.
It's been some time since Nintendo dabbled in space-exploration, with the latest efforts being Metroid Prime 3: Corruption in 2007 and the Team Ninja-developed Metroid: Other M back in 2010.
Speaking to Kotaku at E3 this week, Nintendo's Shinya Takahashi acknowledged that Nintendo have "two different types of Metroid games" and the team wants to "take care of both of these styles of play." Despite a lack of anything Metroid related at E3, Takahashi hopes that "at some point in the near future we'll be able to share something about them."
