Final Fantasy Explorers Trademarked in US and Europe on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Interested in Final Fantasy Explorers? The name has been trademarked in North America and Europe.

The game, announced earlier this month for Japan, is the latest spin-off series from RPG giant Square Enix. Described as a co-operative adventure, players battle through beasts using fellow humans or CPU controlled monsters. It all takes place in a world called "Amostera", where Explorers venture out to hunt out crystals, with some similarities to Capcom's Monster Hunter series.

Square Enix have yet to announce plans for a Western release at time of writing, but with the name trademarked in multiple regions, it's likely that Final Fantasy Explorers would at least leave Japan at some point.

Would you battle through the world of Final Fantasy Explorers?
