Nintendo's new development space is now up and running, opening last week in Kyoto, Japan.
Company president Satoru Iwata had admitted in the past that one of his concerns were that teams within Nintendo were perhaps too isolated from one another, and the new setup ensures improved collaboration.
Iwata said that Nintendo will "be interacting more deeply with hardware development, but we'll also be able to develop integrated software."
The building will be the primary base for Nintendo software/hardware production, crafted over what used to be a golf driving range site. Around 1,000 staff from the development teams at the head office and 100 people from the Kyoto Research Center have moved across.
What sorts of projects are you hoping to see from the new Nintendo setup?
