The team behind Shovel Knight were asked if there were plans to release a sequel to the critically acclaimed game.
Shovel Knight has already received rave reviews, including a solid 10/10 from Cubed3, and it's lead fans to wonder if the studio has plans for a new game.
In an interview, WayForward's Sean Velasco confirmed plans to continue developing more, free, updates for the game over the coming months - including three additional playable characters, Challenge Mode, Gender Swap more and even a four-player co-op battle mode.
In a lot of ways it is like a Shovel Knight 2, because it's going to be the same kind of game, but it's going to be a totally different playable character, a different story.
