Nintendo Receive Three Game Critics Awards on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The Game Critics Awards results are in for this year's E3 Expo, with Nintendo granted a trio of accolades.

The company had a wealth of games available to try out during this year's show, including the new Super Smash Bros. games for 3DS and Wii U, Splatoon, Yoshi's Wooly World, Hyrule Warriors and more. The Game Critics Awards celebrated the best of the best during the week, with Nintendo taking home three awards:

  • Best Handheld/Mobile Game: Super Smash Bros. for 3DS
  • Best Fighting Game: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
  • Best Social/Casual/Family Game: Mario Maker
