More Alternate Costumes for Super Smash Bros. on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The latest Super Smash Bros. update on Miiverse reveals even more secret costumes for the upcoming games.

A new screenshot posted by the game's director, Masahiro Sakurai, highlights a pair of new costumes for series veterans Samus and Mario. The plumber can don a look at that he once wore in Open Tournament Golf for the NES, whilst Samus switches into an outfit based on the Light Suit from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.

"The character farther in the back isn't from the Imperial forces," joked Sakurai.

As long as each character gets a proper alternate costume as well, then I'll be happy. These alternate colours look quite nice though!

Yep & not just repaints either, I like the design of Samus' suit in Prime over Other M. As long as the bit boxes remain the same size Nintendo should make them more unique like how they handled Wario's in Brawl.
