Tezuka on Yoshi

Takashi Tezuka has revealed just how the idea for upcoming Wii U platformer Yoshi's Woolly World came together.

Whilst working on the Super Mario Bros. series, Tezuka managed to get his hands on Kirby's Epic Yarn and felt that it would be "a good idea to ask Good Feel to create a Yoshi game", he said in a recent interview.

Tezuka is "always thinking of ideas" for a new Yoshi title, and felt that the Kirby's Epic Yarn mould would be the right fit for the series, with the team making "man action game using yarn and craft materials in their stunning visual style, with all-new game mechanics."

What do you think of the blend of Yoshi and Kirby's Epic Yarn?
