Nintendo Wii U Purchase Intent Increases 50% Post E3 on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

A new survey conducted after this year's E3 has shown a strong purchase intent by consumers thinking about investing in a Nintendo Wii U.

The survey took into account around 1000 core gamers before and after the event, with 50% of those asked having greater intent to buy a Wii U after Nintendo's showing at the event last month. Xbox One saw a 7% rise in those wanting to buy, but Sony lost ground, dipping below the 30% mark.

From the Wii U owners asked, 89% wanted to buy the new Legend of Zelda title when released. Xbox One had Halo as the must-have, with 77% wanting to zip into space. Uncharted 4 tempted 76% of the vote from PS4 owners.
