This could've been the perfect move set for Saria but I guess they don't want too many characters from each timeline for the first game.

It doesn't get much better than charging on a Deku Sprout like a knight on a horse, armed with a Deku Stick and Deku Shield. So many cool movesets here, it's gonna be hard to decide who to play the most.

Yeah this would have been great for Saria... Shame she's likely not in it...though I am hoping far more that Malon still gets in. The various move sets per character make up for lack of characters (by lack, I mean by Warriors standards), but there looks to be at least three more heroes still to get in... Hope they start to focus on older Zeldas now too. Best Princess Zelda design is LttP, so hope they do a DLC of that.

Three more characters seems like a pretty safe bet, though I think the most likely case is that they'll announce Ganondorf to be playable alongside Zant and Ghirahim, possibly in their own campaign.

It's just, if you look at that character select screen, you'd bet on three more characters to fit in nicely there, making 13. But I think villains could end up going on a different page, meaning we may get three more heroes, and a bunch of villains to come. I'd be a bit sad of those three slots were just for three villains and we're done.

There's still a bit of choice left for each side, but really would like to see Agahnim for villains. Skull Kid could be a bet too. They could definitely do just as many villains as heroes based on the numbers on that screen. 13 each side could easily be done.

Yeah, it really depends on how all the modes are handled. The guys at the E3 Treehouse event teased a bunch of other modes they wish they could talk about, and we still haven't heard anything about them. If one of them is a dedicated villain campaign, I can see a few more heroes joining that roster there and probably a few more villains.

Hopefully the Direct tomorrow morning will reveal all of that stuff. Heck, I wouldn't mind knowing how exactly that retro Zelda mini game thing works.

I'm liking this new character, so I wonder how many weapons each character will be able to use. Link's got 3, everyone but Darunia, Agitha, Ruto, Midna & Shiek have 2 so far. When is the live stream going to happen & will you guys here C3 be able to post the full stream once it's done? Pretty PLEEEEEAASE!?!???!!

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422

call me when the majora's mask+skull kid make it in.

Release date is too soon, if we haven't seen the Skull Kid by this point I doubt he'll be playable in the game.

I'm expecting new characters. Things could easily still be under wraps.

Three more does seem plausible with the space that's left, maybe one more from each game? Groose, Malon and maybe Ashei from Twilight Princess could be good, although I can't really think of anyone else from TP tbh xD

I don't see why it's so centred on those three games... surely they have to give rep to older and 2D Zeldas in some form.

Ashei is a great idea though. Was one of my faves in TP after Agitha.

Ahh I know... the Ultimate Complete Edition will have an extra 26 characters from the rest of the series... of course!

So are certain movesets only available on specific maps? Like the Deku Tree move she has in the video, is that only in the Deku Tree stage.

Id imagine you can use it on any stage. I'd also love something out of the 2d games Az, maybe characters like Vati or Veran would be interesting. Perhaps if there's no 2d game reps in this one, maybe they'll be included in Hyrule warriors 2 if there's ever a sequel.

I agree, let ERROR from Zelda 2 be playable. His special ability is glitching out the enemies followed by his 1 line; "I am ERROR". XD But yeah more representatives from the top down Zelda games too guys.
