SteamWorld Dig Wii U Release: 28th August on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

SteamWorld Dig is coming to the Wii U this month, bringing all the digging action to the big screen.

Available for $9.99/€8.99/£6.99, the game will launch on Wii U on 28th August, including high-resolution 1080p graphics, additional effects and customisable controls. The team have also reduced the clutter, with the map and interface elements displayed on the GamePad, however there's also support for those wanting to switch to Off-TV play as well.

Play as a robot known as Rusty who ventures deep underground into an old mine from his uncle Joe. There's something lurking below the surface, however...

Image & Form are also teasing that "maybe there's an Easter egg somewhere?"

For more on the game, be sure to read our interview with the team.

Will you step into Rusty's boots on Wii U this month?
