Resident Evil Revelations 2 Skipping Wii U, 3DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Earlier this week Capcom revealed a sneak peak at more horror shenanigans as Resident Evil Revelations will return with a sequel.

The teaser, which Capcom notes has "hidden secrets beckon to be discovered by anyone with eyes and wits sharp enough to find them," is for the latest chapter in the long-running survival horror series.

On track for a release early next year, the game is in development for multiple platforms - including PS3, Xbox One, PS4, PS3 and Steam - but no Nintendo edition is in sight, despite the first game starting life on 3DS.

WiiU is vaguely understandable, but no 3DS is just daft.
Theres more 3DS's out there then PS4's, and the first looked amazing on the platform.

I fear they figured out anyone over 18 with a Wii U has a decent enough PC aswell usually anyway...

^^^ This. Capcom's decision doesn't make any sense. Smilie

I don't understand the decision not to put this on 3DS or Wii U. It started on 3DS and Resident Evil games have always sold pretty well on Nintendo home consoles.

Guess I won't be playing it. Smilie

Totally agree - Wii U is uncertain, but they could easily have considered 3DS - or at least release it after the main batch if it needs extra work.

Wow. Just... wow. I have a PC and a PS4 but I woukd honestly love to play that sequel on my 3DS and Wii U. The first one on the 3DE was a classic and the Wii U version was the better vers I n because of the Gamepad options thrown in. Sigh... I don't understand.

Same here. I absolutely LOVED the gameplay featured on the 3DS and *especially* the Wii U version. The touch screen was brilliant. Smilie

Well FUCK YOU TOO capcom.

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422
