Super Smash Bros. Gets Eight Colours Per Character on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

It's colours galore in the latest Super Smash Bros. update on Miiverse, with eight colours per character.

In today's update, producer Masahiro Sakurai outlined some of the changes in the forthcoming fighting game, which includes eight different colourways per character.

Using the space-travelling Samus as an example, Sakurai confirmed the different palettes available - including the Varia Suit, Fusion Suit, Gravity Suit (Super Metroid), Dark Suit, Gravity Suit (Metroid Prime), Green Samus, Light Suit, and Dark Samus.

Sakurai also highlighted four additional colours for Villager that haven't been seen until now:

Some scary looking villager alts there xD It's a shame Samus hasn't got a proper alt costume, like a different power suit, but her alt colours look much better this time round!

why didnt they do this for mk8?? 

I still don't understand how Samus doesn't have a ice beam and everything else yet...although I'm at least hoping that this could be an option in the "Edit Moves" section
