Aegis Defenders Gets Slacker Backer Campaign to Push Wii U Stretch Goal Over on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

After a successful Kickstarter campaign, tactical 2D platformer Aegis Defenders raised over $145,000 to ensure it will release on Windows and Mac PCs, as well as PlayStation 4.

With the new Slacker Backer campaign, there is still hope to make the potential Wii U version a reality. Studio Guts has set this up for fans to continue backing the game until 5th October, helping to meet any further stretch goals that were not previously met during the Kickstarter. With less than $5,000 needed to reach the Wii U target, it is not farfetched to suggest Aegis Defenders may arrive on Nintendo's console in the future.

Remember, the Slacker Backer campaign ends on 5th October, so be sure to get your donations in before then.
