Final Fantasy Explorers TGS Trailer on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Square Enix has released the Tokyo Game Show trailer for Final Fantasy Explorers.

The video gives a quick look at the summons, jobs, legend characters (Cloud, Terra, Squall and Lightning, with hints for other heroes to come), multiplayer, and more.

Further details of the game came out in Jump magazine. One new job class is Beastmaster, which allows players to control monsters that absorb enemy power, and holds the Berserk ability. The Dragoon class returns, with its Jump ability and piercing air attacks. Finally, the Dark Knight job features the Power Blood ability, and uses a sickle and hatchet to land strong wide range attacks.

Other information includes the summon Bahamut making an appearance, and must be fought both on land and in the air. The legendary dragon uses various elemental attacks, as well as earth tremors and rushes.

Soul Stones drop from some enemies, and can be used to call ally monsters to fight alongside players.

Final Fantasy Explorers releases in Japan on 18th December.
