Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS Selling out in Japan on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Over in Japan, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS has almost sold out of its initial shipment.

With the game selling selling well over a million units in Japan since launching on 13th September, it seems that Nintendo are closing in on the initial shipment of the game, with Media Create reporting that Nintendo sold through 93.45% of its current retail allocation.

By comparison, Super Smash Bros. Brawl for Wii sold 819,647 units at launch, at around 94.37% of its shipment.

The surge in sales for Nintendo's latest fighting mash-up hasn't been relefected in hardware just yet, but it's likely that the public are waiting for the New Nintendo 3DS consoles, out 11th October in Japan.
