Smash Bros. 3DS Final Boss Explodes into View

The latest Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS Miiverse post explores the final boss in the game's Classic Mode. Naturally, spoilers ahead.

The game's director Masahiro Sakurai posted an image of the final boss, series favourite Master Hand, and a twist that ensues once defeating him.

The glove rips open and a mysterious substance that Nintendo call "the swarm" pours out and forms a final opponent. Players will need to battle through, swatting away small clusters to win. "The higher your intensity, the denser the substance will be," he warned.
