Introducing Mega Latias, Latios, Beedrill, Pidgeot and More Evolutions on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo have revealed even more new Mega Evolved critters for Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire.

First up, the Legendary Pokémon Latios can be found in Pokémon Omega Ruby, with Latias is available for trainers in Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. Both critters can Mega Evolve and also fly freely through the skies of the region, performing mid-air tricks and turns in a new 3D mode.

The new means of flying around also allows players to uncover secret Mirage spots, where rare, legendary Pokémon and items appear.

In addition, players can also encounter Mega-Evolved forms of classics Pidgeot and Beedrill in the game, for an extra helping of power. Mega Pidgeot is able to use the moves "Hurricane" and "No Guard", with Mega Beedrill seeing a boost in attack using "Fell Stinger."

Finally, Mega Glalie and Mega Steelix were also confirmed for the upcoming Nintendo 3DS games.

Also today, Nintendo confirmed details on a free demo for the games and the new PokéNav Plus.

Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire are launching on 28th November 2014.
