Sega shows off Sega 3D Hukkoku Archives for 3DS in trailer form on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

As previously unveiled, Sega is set to release in Japan, on December 18th 2014, a compilation of several of their own take on 3D classics, all of which are already out on the Japanese 3DS eShop and of which only a few have made their way onto the western 3DS eShop... to critical success, yet meagre sales.

As western markets have yet to hear word of the release of many of these eShop titles, such as 3D Outrun, still not out in the west at time of writing, a possible release of this retail compilation seems even less likely in our regions. Fellow western gamers drool over... and cry at the sight of the following trailer which has just been put forward by Sega :

No Sonic? Is it missing any other SEGA 3D Classics? Part 2 coming in the future maybe?

A small part of me just says "You can always import" and then that other part quickly reminds me about region lock. Just fuck.

Yes there are a handful of other Sega 3D classics not part of this collection, I just don't remember which ones off the top of my head Smilie. I just want my Outrun 3D in the west to be honest and i'd be happy that way. But even that seems to be asking a bit too much.
