Potential Mighty No. 9 DLC Announced

Mighty No. 9 developers Comcept have announced a crowdfunding campaign to develop a DLC character for the game.

The character, named Ray, will appear as a boss in his own new level and has been described by the creators as "a lone wolf character".

The developers have asked for $190,000 from "slacker backers" - that is, backers to the project who missed the Kickstarter campaign - via PayPal in order to develop the character, and have published a breakdown of the costs in order to justify the asking price.

If funding is successful, the DLC will be released for free for all backers in summer 2015.

The campaign is the second push for further crowdfunding after last year's successful Kickstarter; April 2014 saw Comcept attempt to raise $100,000 to include English voice acting in the game.

Mighty No. 9 will be released for Wii U, 3DS, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Mac and Linux in April 2015.
