A Look at Solo Gunning in Splatoon Wii U

Nintendo have revealed how single player will work in the new Wii U shooter, Splatoon.

Revealed during this year's E3 to critical acclaim, the intense and rather frantic third-person shooter brings a fresh approach to the tried-and-tested formula. As well as four-on-four matches, players will also be able to roam about in a single player mode.

This particular feature will see lone shooters go toe-to-toe against an army of devious octopi who are all equipped with nasty ink weapons. Things will certainly get messy.

Splatoon will be released during the second quarter of next year, Nintendo confirmed today.
