New Xenoblade Chronicles X Details on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Today's Nintendo Direct featured a few exciting tidbits about the upcoming Wii U-exclusive RPG Xenoblade Chronicles X.

From the press release:

Xenoblade Chronicles X: In this new RPG from Monolith Soft, players embark on an epic quest in a new world. Using the city of New Los Angeles as a home base, players will embark on missions, collect items and take on requests from residents. Xenoblade Chronicles X - which features a bigger world than Xenoblade Chronicles on Wii - is planned for launch exclusively on Wii U in 2015.

A successor to the Wii-exclusive Xenoblade Chronicles, Xenoblade Chronicles X will feature a much larger game world with higher detail, and there appears to be a greater focus on researching the surrounding locations and creatures.

For how great this game sounds and looks, I cannot get over the horrible character model faces. Soulless dolls from hell. Was hoping Monolith would alter them a lot from the E3 build. Hopefully the story or their personalities will be enough to get over it, but boy, are they poor.

lol i thought i was the only one who wasnt feeling the mannequin faces

I got about a minute and a half into Xenoblade Chronicles before I decided I couldn't care less what the faces looked like because I was having so much fun.

Can't wait for this, but I doubt we'll see a Western release anytime before next holiday.
