Space Age Claymation in Armikrog Footage on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

New footage from the upcoming adventure Armikrog has hit the interwebs recently, showcasing the project in action.

Developed by Pencil Test Studios, the game is a claymation point-and-click adventure, lead by the chap behind Earthworm Jim and The Neverhood, Doug TenNapel. The game features a space explorer called Tommynaut, who ends up in a strange planet and locked up within a fortress known as Armikrog with a blind, talking dog known as Beak-Beak. The peculiar tale will be released next year on multiple platforms, including Nintendo Wii U, PC and PS4.

The new footage showcases the striking new world, visual and animation style, plus the first glimpse of Tommynaut's first steps. It's not all peaceful, however, as the poor explorer is instantly captured by what looks like a deranged beast.

What do you think of the game's look so far?

First I am like "yah! I love claymation"
And then I am told its by a ragging homophobe and I am like "arg." <-- Tells some truly terrible tales.

Well I'm picking it up as I enjoy unique & quirky games like this regardless of who develops them. It's kinda like Tom Cruise, sure he can be a little weird in the head, but he's a damn fine actor.

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422
