Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma has confirmed details of the second Hyrule Warriors DLC pack via Miiverse.
Dubbed the Twilight Princess Pack, the DLC will introduce one new playable character: the Twili form of Midna, who appeared briefly at the end of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Her weapon of choice is the Mirror of Twilight, which is the gateway between Midna's Twilight Realm and the human world.
Also re-confirmed are the appearances of new weapons and costumes, as well as a third Adventure Mode map. Details of those are, however, still sketchy, although Aonuma does stress that "for one of the costumes, you can dress Link up as a certain familiar character from the Zelda series", indicating further fanservice to come.
As reported earlier, a free update will come to Hyrule Warriors at the same time as this DLC, adding amiibo support. Currently confirmed compatible amiibo figurines are Link and Toon Link (who unlock the Spinner weapon for Link), as well as Zelda and Sheik (whose use is unknown).
The Twilight Princess Pack launches on November 27th, and is the second DLC pack available for the game. The third and fourth packs launch in January and February respectively.
