Miyamoto Confirms 3DS Pikmin Theme

Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto recently took to Miiverse to answer questions on the series of animated Pikmin movies.

As well as sharing some concept art and storyboards from the short Pikmin sequences, Miyamoto also touched on how he wanted to highlight the critters as individuals; to create "Short Movies that focused only on the Pikmin" and questioning "what this world would look like from a Pikmin's point of view?"

Miyamoto also confirmed that a new Pikmin 3DS theme will be launching next week.
