Repair Tech's offices, the group behind Nintendo UK's repairs, was hit by a fire last week, the company has confirmed.
The office was hit by a major outbreak on Tuesday, requiring a number of fire engines and officers to tackle. Nintendo confirmed that they used the warehouse only for "UK based product repairs and storing of associated repairs equipment, it did not contain stock that would at any point be sent to a retailer for sale to the public."
Fortunately no-one was hurt during the incident. The cause of the fire, however, remains unknown.
Those whose hardware/software were affected will receive free replacements, in addition to complementary eShop credit.
