Over 7 Million Units of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Shipped on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The much anticipated Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire 3DS remakes have had phenomenal success since launch, with over 7.7 million units shipped.

The Pokémon Company has confirmed the figures, with a wide range of titles now at the hands of both consumers and awaiting new homes in various retailers. The game has already boasted impressive sales figures since launch - over 1.6 million retail units sold in Japan, with sales up by around 135% compared to Pokémon X and Y and Europe.

Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, now available around the globe for Nintendo 3DS/2DS, are remakes of the much loved Game Boy Advance generation, inviting newcomers and seasoned fans into a remade 3D world.
