Itagaki Shares More Devil

Devil's Third producer Tomonobu Itagaki recently shared interesting nuggets about the Wii U game on Facebook.

He recently confirmed that the game has been designed for a single player campaign, and also support for online play, with Itagaki hoping to "respond to expectations by both gamers."

The team has "invested double (the) amount of resources than general development in this industry, to accomplish to develop this game (sic)" he said. Itagaki didn't quite divulge how long the single player mode would be, but hopes that his statement would provide a clue.

The team are also working on the framerate and resolution at the moment, to ensure things run smoothly on Nintendo's hardware.

Finally, Itagaki confirmed that the game's name is to do with music.

I dont expect this game to be great. I know it will have rough patches visually and gameplay wise, and I know its difficulty will be unbalanced in places. What I do expect is for this game to be insane, like it just ground up every 80's & 90's b movie with bath salts and then snorted it all up in one 10 foot line of dust. And if the gameplay is fun enough to keep my attention, thats good enough for me.

Itagaki has a good track record, even pitting Ninja Gaiden 2 on 360 vs. Sigma 2 on ps3 with fans professing the 360 original was better. It may not be perfect....but it'll be better than most games on the ps3.5 or xbox1 with Itagaki at the helm. Smilie

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422
