Majora's Mask Dominated Poland's New Year's Eve

By Jorge Ba-oh 04.01.2015

Majora

During the televised New Year's Eve celebrations in Poland, Nintendo's Majora showed up in mask form.

With the countdown to 2015 in full swing, it was only appropriate that the stoic mask appear hauntingly in the background. It all happened during a performance by rock act Bic Cyc, who performed their song Makumba.

It's uncertain quite why Majora was selected, but perhaps it could be related to the Carnival of Time in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, or whether the performers are fans of Nintendo's much loved adventure masterpiece.
