Along with the unveiling of the release of the New Nintendo 3DS models across Europe, the first game to be compatible exclusively with new hardware, Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, was also announced with a release date for Europe in today's Nintendo Direct.
Monolith Soft's masterpiece RPG, first released for the Nintendo Wii back in 2012 in Europe, will now be re-released, exclusively for New Nintendo 3DS, on April 2nd 2015. The same title will be released in North America also during the same month.
The game was also unveiled to be ported by Monster Games, known among other things for making Exite Truck and Excitebots for the Wii, but also more recently for porting Donkey Kong Country Returns to the Nintendo 3DS.
New features have also been confirmed with a new Jukebox feature, allowing the player to listen to the magnificent soundtrack on the go, even as the 3DS is folded up inside your pocket if you choose to listen using headphones. Finally, a character model gallery allows the player to view various character and enemy models under any angle in full 3D, which would otherwise be difficult to inspect during cutscenes.
