Nintendo On The Up!Up, Up and Away!Well, Despite suffering a 51 per cent loss in profit over the last year Nintendo's future is now looking bright. The company's stock price went up by 4.49 per cent at 11,180 yen, indicating that despite some of its losses it isn't giving up and is fighting back against the giants of Sony and Microsoft. This could be due to a massive 65,970,000 hardware units sold worldwide and a very impressive 291,660,000 software units sold during the same period. However the GameCube only accounted for 14,570,000 of the hardware units, the rest were GBA and the GBA: SP. Now we can only hope that the launch of the Revolution and the DS have secured Nintendo's future in software and hardware development. Please Post Your Comments Below.
