Cube Life: Island Survival Heading to Wii U

More open-world block action for Wii U as developer Cypronia is working on Cube Life: Island Survival for Nintendo's home console.

Announced today, the game will feature two distinct modes - "Survival" and "Creative". The first will have players rushing about in a bid for survival, fending off wild animals on land, water and sky. Creative Mode, as the name suggests, will see players forging designs, with a proposed ability to share content online.

Cypronia is planning several updates this year, with an aim to "create the best block building open-world sandbox game for Nintendo platforms."

The game is on track for a release during Q2 1015.
