Two Striking Zelda NEW Nintendo 3DS Faceplates on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo have unveiled two striking new faceplates for the New Nintendo 3DS console in Japan, featuring The Legend of Zelda.

Adding to the ever-expanding collection of nifty, bolt-on faceplates are two striking new designs: The first is a Legend of Zelda/Triforce flavour, with a geometric print along the front and the Hylian emblem on the back.

The second takes a page from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D, with a charming piece of game art across both the front and back.

Part of me really wishes this was coming to America because the faceplates are awesome. The other part of me doesn't care because I'd rather have an XL anyway.

That Majora's plate is on the UK 3DS site so we'll likely be getting it close to launch. I want the triforce one though. So Sexy and compliment the black N3DS nicely. Just a shame they're so damn expensive. Same price as some Amiibos.
